The Lead Integration and Test Engineer is responsible for dealing with projects and driving product improvements through the facility via data analysis, root causing – solutions development to assure non-fault launch/introduction in a production environment.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead the assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) efforts, for assembly and testing of products used in ultra high vacuum applications
- Review engineering drawing and specs and collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop detailed technical documentations such as operation method sheets, process flow diagrams, and test procedures
- Develop, and maintain integration flows and ensure the routing and BOM data in ERP are accurate and efficient
- Ensure each integration maintains a consistent level of customer technical standards that meet quality & workmanship standards
- Direct and collaborate with technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of manufacturing and testing activities.
- Set up the facility, workstations and test stations for new products and also to scale up capacity to meet production ramp
- Maintain test equipment, including preventative maintenance, failure diagnostics, calibration, and equipment repairs
- Construct test programs, maintain backups of test programs and test data.
- Maintain Cleanroom standards, environmental testing activities, to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Apply Cleanroom best practices for ISO Class 1000 environment, ensuring adherence to contamination control standards during assembly and testing processes
- Oversee and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment and meet timelines and objectives
- Collaborate closely with customer engineers to ensure manufacturability of components and systems, providing feedback to improve designs.
- Identify and recommend cost reductions, efficiency improvements, and quality improvements
- Analyze failure data, summarize, and present analysis to customer engineering team
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics /Instrumentation Engineering
- 5 years or more of experience in manufacturing engineering within the Contract manufacturing for semiconductor industry.
- 3 years or more of experience in the assembly, integration, and acceptance/qualification testing
- 3 years or more of experience with Vacuum Systems, including Fluidics, RGA, Functional testing
- Relevant experience interpreting and creating engineering spec, drawings, models
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome challenges
- Thorough understanding of Cleanroom quality standards

Salary Range (annual): $75,000 - $140,000
